Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup hazelnut spread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup hazelnut spread

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with muffin liners.
  2. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the cottage cheese, butter, buttermilk and egg in a medium bowl until blended. Stir the cottage cheese mixture into the flour mixture until combined.
  4. Spoon half of the batter into the muffin cups; top with half of the hazelnut-cocoa spread. Spoon the remaining batter into the muffin cups; top with the remaining hazelnut-cocoa spread.
  5. Swirl gently with a small knife. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan on wire a rack for 5 minutes; remove from the pan. Cool completely.
